A general assistant doesn't know your folders, doesn't act in your management (it won't create an invoice or trigger a follow-up), can make things up, and routes your data through the United States. Naskel works on your real data, acts in the app under your validation, cites its sources, and runs on Mistral in Europe. Your data isn't kept beyond processing.

How do I import my existing data?

Accepted Answer

Through a CSV import directly from Naskel. You import your contacts (email is enough, plus name, phone, role, company, note) and your quotes or opportunities; companies are created automatically from the “Company” column. A template file is provided, with a preview and column mapping before you confirm, then a detailed import report. From HubSpot, Pipedrive or Axonaut: export to CSV, then import.

What can the AI assistant actually do?

Accepted Answer

You talk or write to it, and it acts in the app. For example: “create a contact Jean Dupont at Acme” (it creates the contact and the company), “draft a €2,500 quote for service X” (it prepares the quote as a draft, never sent without you), “who should I follow up with today?” (it returns a prioritized list), or “find my last exchange with this client.” And every morning, it prepares a Daily Brief for you.

How does voice input work?

You dictate, and Naskel creates the contact, opportunity, task or note. The voice engine is Voxtral, from Mistral, in Europe. You can speak for up to about a minute and a half; the recording stops on its own at silence. Common audio formats are supported.

Does the AI act on its own, or do I validate?

Accepted Answer

Nothing important goes out without your validation: an invoice, a quote, a message to a client always goes through you. In voice mode, sensitive actions: send, charge, delete, are even removed from what the assistant can trigger.

How do you prevent the AI from making things up?

It works only from your real data and cites the source in your folder. If it's unsure, it says so rather than filling in a blank. And external content (emails, PDFs) is isolated: if an instruction is hidden inside, the assistant refuses to execute it.

What is Naskel Agent, the proactive agent?

Naskel Agent monitors your activity continuously: dormant opportunities, quotes with no reply, late payments, contacts going cold. It suggests the actions to take, but never does anything without your validation. It's included in your Starter subscription.

Which AI models do you use, and is my data used to train the AI?

Mistral exclusively, on European infrastructure, no OpenAI, no Anthropic, no Gemini. Your data is never used to train the models and isn't kept beyond processing. It's written into the contract with Mistral.

You describe the work, in writing or by voice, and Naskel generates the document as a PDF, about 30 seconds between your request and the finished PDF. You review, adjust if needed, and send.

Each invoice can carry a Stripe payment link; your client pays by card. Reconciliation is automatic: once paid, the invoice moves to “paid” with the amount, date and payment method, and a confirmation email goes to the client.

Yes: deposit and balance, credit notes, recurring invoices generated automatically, and converting an accepted quote into an invoice. The matching legal mentions are added to the PDF automatically.

Why does Naskel block me until my company identity is complete?

Accepted Answer

Because a quote or invoice without a legal name, SIREN and address isn't legally valid. So Naskel refuses to generate it until that's complete. Tip: type your company name and Naskel pulls the SIREN and SIRET from the official business directory.

How do automatic follow-ups work?

You create a sequence: a series of steps: send an email, wait a number of days, create a task, or “stop if the client replied.” You enroll a contact or an opportunity, and the sequence runs on its own, from your connected mailbox.

Five roles. The Owner sees the whole workspace and manages the team and the subscription (one Owner per workspace). The Manager sees their team and subordinates. Sales sees their own opportunities, quotes and contacts. The Finance role sees every invoice and the revenue, but not the pipeline. The Read-only role sees everything, without being able to change anything.

Yes, with Google, Outlook and CalDAV. On a team, calendar visibility depends on roles: a manager sees their team's calendar.

Why do I have to connect my mailbox first?

Because all your sends, quotes, invoices, follow-ups, go out from your own connected mailbox. With no mailbox connected, nothing actually goes out. So it's the first thing to do after sign-up.

Which mailboxes can I connect?

Gmail and Google Workspace, Outlook and Microsoft 365, or any mailbox over IMAP/SMTP (OVH, Gandi, your own domain…). Your credentials are encrypted on the server side.

Email (Gmail, Outlook, IMAP), calendar (Google, Outlook, CalDAV), payment (Stripe) and accounting export in the FEC format. More connections arrive regularly.

Will Naskel comply with the 2026 French e-invoicing mandate?

Generating your invoices in Factur-X format is available today. Transmission and reception through an official state-accredited platform (PDP) are in development, expected for 2027, in time for the self-employed deadline. Your invoices stay archived inside Europe for the legally required duration, and you have nothing to configure.

What are the key dates?

Two dates. On September 1, 2026, every company in France must be able to receive structured B2B invoices, and large and mid-sized companies must also send them. On September 1, 2027, small businesses and micro-businesses must start sending too. Naskel will be ready on both flows several months ahead of each date, not the day before.

What is the Factur-X format?

A regular PDF with a hidden XML file inside it carrying the invoice data (amounts, VAT, due dates, line items). For you it stays a PDF you can read with your eyes. For tax authorities and your clients, it's an invoice their software can read automatically, without copying. It's the format required by the French tax authority (DGFiP) for B2B exchanges starting in 2026.

Will supplier invoices be received automatically?

In time, yes. Reception through an official platform (PDP) is in development, expected for 2027: Naskel will then fetch your suppliers' invoices directly, without going through your inbox. Amounts, due dates and line items will be read automatically and filed in the right client folder. No more PDFs lost in Gmail, no more month-end attachment hunts.

Will legal archiving be included in the price?

Yes, it's included. Issued and received invoices are kept for the legally required duration, on servers inside Europe, downloadable anytime from your dashboard. No surcharge, no volume tier. We don't charge extra for what should be the baseline.

I run a micro-business: what changes for me?

Two dates for you: being able to receive electronic invoices by September 2026, and to send them by September 2027. In practice, you keep creating your quotes and invoices in Naskel as you do today; the format and the transmission through the official platform are on us. You don't need to understand Factur-X, choose a platform, or touch a single technical setting.

Which accredited platform will you use?

An official platform accredited by the French tax authority DGFiP (called a "PDP"), hosted in Europe. We're not pinning down the name here because the market is still moving (new entrants going through accreditation, prices evolving). What doesn't move: DGFiP compliance and European servers, regardless of which partner we connect underneath. If we switch one day, you won't see it.

What if the regulation changes before 2026?

We track the DGFiP specifications continuously, including changes to formats, statuses or identifiers. When an update lands, we apply it on Naskel's side without asking you to do anything. That's exactly why we handle the regulatory part: so it's our problem, not yours.

Is the FEC accounting export compliant?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Naskel generates the Fichier des Écritures Comptables in the legal format: 18 columns in the required order, “|” separator, file named after your SIREN, with debit = credit balanced to the cent. You pick a period and hand the file to your accountant.

Can I customize the chart of accounts?

Not at launch. The chart of accounts used (simplified French PCG, B2B services) is fixed and you have nothing to configure. If your accountant requires another one, write to us so we can take it into account.

Does Naskel replace my accountant?

No, and that's not the goal. Naskel isn't an accounting tool: it prepares the groundwork (compliant FEC export, legal mentions, archiving) and works alongside your accountant or a tool like Pennylane. A deeper accounting connector is on the roadmap.

Where is my data hosted?

Accepted Answer

Inside the European Union only. The database is on Neon in Frankfurt, the application is hosted on Vercel in Europe (fra1 region). Nothing is replicated outside the EU. It's locked at the infrastructure level, not just a promise.

Do you encrypt the data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Everything moves over TLS encrypted, and everything is stored encrypted in AES-256 on Neon. The most sensitive items, access keys, external credentials, OAuth tokens, are encrypted a second time on the application side (AES-256-GCM) before even reaching the database. Your secrets are never in clear text, not in the code, not in the logs.

What if I want to export or delete my data?

You can export everything (JSON + PDFs) anytime from settings, without asking anyone. For permanent deletion, you write to us and it's done within 30 days. No friction to leave. It's the minimum we owe people who trust us with their clients' data.

ISO 27001 / SOC 2 certified?

No, not today. SOC 2 Type I is aimed for 2027, when the team and the volume genuinely justify it. In the meantime, we avoid displaying security badges we haven't earned. You'll always know exactly where we stand.

Do you have a data protection officer (DPO)?

Not yet. As a micro-business, it isn't required. For now, the founder handles GDPR compliance day-to-day. The day Naskel reaches the size that makes the role mandatory, we'll appoint an external, independent one.

HubSpot is an excellent tool when you're a 50-person marketing and sales team. For a small outfit, you pay for 95% of features you'll never open, with no French invoicing support, and data hosted in the United States. Naskel does the opposite: a single, focused tool that genuinely covers the path from quote to invoice, on European servers.

Pipedrive is well-built for tracking sales opportunities, but that's where it stops. No quotes, no invoicing, no morning brief, no AI assistant that understands your folders. And here too, the data sits in the United States. Naskel embeds deal tracking into a broader whole that covers your entire cycle, without having to wire three different tools together.

Why not Axonaut?

Axonaut is a very good French-style management tool: quotes, invoices, accounting, payroll. Its logic is centered on accounting compliance, not on your day-to-day operations. Naskel takes the opposite angle: we start from the conversation and the client folders, and generate what's needed when it's needed. The two can even coexist: Naskel to operate, Axonaut to close the books.

You can export all of your data (invoices, clients, quotes, notes) anytime, without asking permission. In the event of a permanent shutdown, the platform code would be released as open source so continuity remains possible. That's a written commitment. You can't be held hostage by a tool you pay for every month.
